The Office, "Sabre": Best Lines of the Night
The Office is finally back this week (and I don't mean with a weak clip show). Dunder-Mifflin has been bought out by a company called Sabre, which means some ch-ch-changes for Michael and the rest of the crew. We get a couple of celebrity cameos, a little Pam and Jim awkwardness, and most importantly — the invention of the "suckit."

What just happened?! After a return from its Winter hiatus and a semi-promising holiday episode, I half-expected for The Office to resurrect itself from its Fall slump (the term "jumping the shark" comes to mind), and pull off a zinger of an episode. What we got was a mash-up of favorite Office scenes held together by a paper-thin plot.

The Office has seen its highs and lows (and lower lows) this season. Jim and Pam's wedding was one of my favorite TV moments of the year, but since then the episodes have disappointed (many of you even questioned if the show has jumped the shark entirely). Still, I'm holding out hope that I get my Christmas wish, and we see a resurrection of the old Jim in the coming year — along with a return to form for the series.
Most Realistic Work-Based TV Show
Work-based comedy and drama TV shows help us escape the madness of our own daily grind and make us feel like our real-life offices are completely boring. Still, you gotta admit some aspects of these shows aren't totally off base. It's no shocker to me that 49 percent of you voted The Office as your favorite work-based TV show of the year.

All I Want For Christmas: My 2010 TV Wish List
2009 was a great year in TV — but not for every show. Some of my favorite series are in need of a makeover, whether it's for an individual, plotline, or well, everything. But since it's the holidays and the spirit of generosity abounds, I'm going to proclaim what I have on my television wish list for 2010, and hope some TV exec out there has the Santa spirit within and grants them.
