Starbucks Is Getting Us in the Spring Mood With 2 New, Colorful Iced Drinks

Starbucks is taking a page from Punxsutawney Phil's book and getting us hyped for an early Spring this year. The coffee chain just released two colorful iced drinks that may rival its famed Pink Drink: a green Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink and a yellow Iced Golden Ginger Drink. Both are nondairy beverages and star some pretty interesting flavor mashups that have us craving a tropical getaway. The Iced Pineapple Matcha combines matcha green tea with both pineapple and ginger flavors, as well as coconut milk and ice, whereas the bright yellow Golden Ginger Drink blends ginger, pineapple, and turmeric flavors with coconut milk and ice. Um, are you salivating over there or is it just us?

These creamy, vibrant menu additions come just two months after Starbucks blessed us with two new nondairy hot drinks — the Almondmilk Honey Flat White and Coconutmilk Latte — thus proving its commitment to cranking out plenty of options that feature plant-based milks.

The Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink is now on the permanent Starbucks menu, but the Iced Golden Ginger Drink will only be available for a limited time. Anyone else kinda, sorta tempted to try ordering pink foam on top of one of these?!
