Offering almost 12 grams of protein and over nine grams of fiber, this overnight oats recipe takes five minutes to throw together before bed. Then when your alarm goes off, this jar of apple pie goodness will pull you softly out of sweet slumber, perk up your taste buds, and get you off to a happy start. These oats can be enjoyed cold, or for more of an apple pie feel, pop your jar in the microwave.

INGREDIENTS

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
    • 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
    • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 apple, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. In the order listed, add all the ingredients except for the nuts to a small mason jar.

    2. Place in the fridge overnight.

    3. In the morning, top with walnuts, stir well, and enjoy!

    Use gluten-free oats if you have dietary restrictions.
