Total Recall: All Product Recalls, All The Time Hello, fellow Sugars! I am a safety officer at my paying job (yup, I keep people safe and alive for pay), and I am a wife and mother. I have noticed that many of us are interested in the safety of our families, friends and ourselves. 52 Weeks Without Sugar Some people are addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, or shopping. I am a sugar addict. Number one craving? Skittles. Close second is Starburst. If there is cake, I'm eating it. I don't turn down ice cream and I love sucrose filled drinks. It's a problem and that's why I'm doing something about it. I am going to refrain from eating any desserts, candy, muffins or the like for 52 weeks. There is one caveat — I will allow myself seven days out of the year where I can splurge. Any questions? After a bit more consideration, I realized I love sugar far too much and would rather work off my favorite vices. I'm launching a similar effort in commitment and aiming to exercise at least five days a week for a year. I reserve the right to be very loose on my definition of "working out" when time or energy fail me, but aim for health and endurance.
