With Spring around the corner, there are lots of cheaper alternatives to fresh cut flowers. You could use petals, or you could skip the flowers all together. How simply elegant is this vibrant wheatgrass and lemon centerpiece?

Hello sunshine, and goodbye apartment – North and I will be taking plenty of outdoor adventures as the weather's looking up for the weekend! Although my pup usually trots along happily beside me – except when greeting any and all passersby – there are times when he lays on the grass and tries to take a nibble.
Always up for a little education, I consulted my pals at PetMD to see what's up with his impromptu sidewalk salads.

Shot of wheatgrass, anyone? Though I highly doubt that the "grass" in this Charging Station ($27) is actually real, the description doesn't say otherwise, leaving my imagination to run wild. Wild as that crazy grass.

One simple (and free) small change that you can make in your home in minutes is to regroup. As we accumulate "stuff" — things we love, things we inherited, things we can't seem to get rid of — we build up clutter. In extreme cases, this requires a full Spring cleaning, but most of the time, a little regrouping will take things from chaotic to composed.

Last Friday I grabbed my camera and headed down to the Google campus — home to more than 4000 Google employees — in Mountain View. Before chatting with chef Eric Dela Cruz, my Google girlfriend and I took a whirlwind tour of 7 of the 17 cafés during their two hour lunchtime. From whole roasted fish to Spanish tapas to fresh wheatgrass, the Google cafés have something to offer everyone.

The first season of The Celebrity Apprentice ended last night with its final boardroom firing and I must say, it was probably my favorite episode of all. Maybe they should consider doing all episodes live because everyone seemed much funnier to me last night, especially Trace. It also could be that high stress levels make him loopy, and I can very much relate to that!
