I'm so psyched for BBQs now that the weather is so warm. I always like to keep a box of veggie burgers in the freezer just in case I don't feel like a regular burger, or if we have vegetarian guests over. Now that meat alternatives are so popular, there are so many different kinds to try out, like this Organic Sunshine Burger.

If you recently got your cholesterol or blood pressure checked, you may realize that your body could really benefit from cutting back on foods that are high in saturated fat. Adding more bean-and vegetable-based foods to your diet will not only keep you regular, but will also be good for your heart.
If you're used to eating hamburgers, and you don't want to give them up, Gardenburgers are a tasty alternative.

All this talk about beef being recalled and red meat being linked to breast cancer is making me crazy. Don't have a cow - reach for a veggie burger instead.
I love that so many companies make them now, but my favorite is made by Gardenburger.

Yesterday I gave you guys the recipe for some simple oven-crisp black bean and corn flautas. I also told you to hang on to some of the filling - although I'm betting it was pretty impossible, those flautas are pretty darn tasty. However if you did manage to hang on to the filling, then you're in for a treat.

One can never have too many burger recipes, and this one is perfect for vegetarians! It expertly marinates portobello mushrooms in balsamic vinegar and garlic.
The 'shrooms are charred on the grill and served with chunks of smoky red bell peppers and disks of goat cheese.
