I went to the drugstore to pick up some sunscreen and the endless shelves of bottles is astounding. Have you ever thought, "What's with all the different SPF numbers?" If you're confused by what the numbers mean and how you choose the right one for your skin type, you're not alone.

Sunscreen is a must for anyone who spends time outside. Your bottle probably mentions something about UVA and UVB rays. Since you care so much about your health, I thought I'd refresh your mind on the difference between the two.

Just to see if you all have been paying attention, I have a few questions about sunscreen for you. It is kind of like a "pop" quiz, but really it is a Fit quiz.

If you plan on spending a lot of time in the sun and the water this summer season, I highly recommend investing in a sunblocking rashguard. While the O'Neil UV Protection Rashguard does the trick, the Sunblocker Rashguard ($45) by Title Nine does the job with a little more fashion sense.
Title Nine commissioned two surfers, both women, to design this guard, and they definitely gave the rashguard a feminine touch.

Recently I quizzed you all on the differences between UVA and UVB rays, but knowing the difference isn't enough to protect your from the sun's harmful rays. Nope...you need sunscreen and broad spectrum sunscreen at that. When you are buying your first bottle or tube of sunscreen this season, read the label and make sure it says that it protects from both types of rays - that it is Broad Spectrum.

Avon's Anew Advanced All-in-One Cream ($16.50) provides both UVA and UVB protection. Plus, it has antioxidant protection with a SPF of 15. But, with all that it claims to do, does this hydrating product work?

Treatment
Psoriasis that develops on the hands or feet is often very difficult to treat. However, an advanced clinical trial showed that a medication called efalizumab (Raptiva) effectively cleared or nearly cleared moderate-to-severe symptoms in adults after 12 weeks.
Several studies have shown that most people with severe psoriasis who are treated with infliximab (Remicade) have significant improvement in symptoms by week 10.
