In a poll written a few years ago by my Stateside sis BellaSugar US, 46% of you felt that beauty supplements were a crock whilst, only 23% of you had even tried them. In my opinion, it takes more than just topical notions to have healthy and beautiful hair skin and nails. It matters what you ingest, and a well balanced diet, can mimic the effects of supplements.

But I'm still concerned about my daily calcium intake, and I still like a sweet bite after meals, so I was excited to discover Adora Calcium Supplements ($6 for a 30-piece bag).
These dark-chocolate supplements are free of corn syrup, as well as gluten, artificial sweeteners, and other weird stuff.

It seems that doctors, chiropractor and other health professionals are always encouraging folks to take a daily vitamin. If you're a person who downs a bunch of pills with her morning cup of coffee or OJ every morning, then you may be surprised to hear this horrible news — research shows that people who take antioxidant supplements, including vitamins A and E, may be unknowingly shortening their lives. Ironically quite the opposite of what they are hoping to do.

Whether masked in peanut butter or in a pill pocket, there are plenty of tricks to getting a pet to take his meds. In addition to pills to treat health issues, some people use capsules like Omega-3s to treat other less serious ailments like dull coats. With herbal remedies for everything from allergy control to stress relief, I am curious to know if your pets receive any special supplements.
