It looks as though stirrup pants are back and I am wondering what you all think about their arrival. I for one have a pair of stirrup leggings so I am sort of liking the Peggy-Bundy-esque look of these Dwell Bertoia Stirrup Pants, $149. But I also think it all depends on how one wears them.

Stirrup tights (aka ski pant tights) have been on my radar for a while. Queen of leggings, Lindsay Lohan, was wearing the trend a while ago but this week Katie Holmes stepped out in a pair. I wanted to try the tights for myself to see just how wearable stirrups really are.

So there's been buzz that the stirrup is back, but I'm still convinced that it's all coming from the denim companies, trying to get us to buy another new pair of jeans. Take a good, hard look at these 7 for All Mankind Stirrup Jeans, $168, and ask yourself: is the stirrup jean really, truly going to make a comeback? I think not.

Katie Holmes has been a one woman advert for denim this year using the New York side walk as her catwalk. She has pioneered the peg-leg look and has recently ventured in to bright coloured skinnies. Over the festive period the fashion show has continued but I can't help but feel that something isn't quite working with this ensemble.

Thank you to WhiplashGirlchild for sending in these truly, um, interesting shiny spandex stirrup pants from Dolce and Gabbana. Regardless of whether or not you actually like them, the price tag of $695 seems a little steep.
What do you guys think?

A birthing plan outlines your wishes and preferences for delivery day. If you're a first time parent — be prepared for some surprises, but having a guide allows you to process your choices before your water breaks, and the adrenaline starts pumping. It also ensures ample time to discuss options with your partner and doctor so everyone hears your wishes loud and clear before your delivery room arrival.

Creating a Birthing Plan
A birthing plan simply outlines and clarifies your preferences for labor and delivery. The process of thinking through your options and discussing them with your doctor beforehand is much more important than actually showing up at the hospital with an itemized list. Your coach or partner can help make sure your wishes, where possible, are carried out on the delivery day.
