If you've ever wish your photos could be touched up like celebrities on magazine covers, you're now in luck. Hewlett Packard has just come out with seven different versions of its Photosmart Digital Slimming Cameras, which include a feature that can make your photo subjects look up to 10 pounds thinner. When the slimming effect is applied, the pixels of the photo are compressed in the center and expanded on the edges, so everything stays in proportion.

We all know the camera adds 10 pounds and while there are special, slimming cameras you can use to help battle the bulge, there are also some simple tips you can use to make sure your subjects are happy with the way they look on film.
Sublime Light features some great tips for keeping your friends feeling slim and trim. It's important to remember that lighting can be your best friend and worst enemy when it comes to photography, but it can't always be controlled.

It's safe to say that if you have a cell phone, you've probably snapped a few photos at a concert to post on Facebook or to send as an accompaniment to a tweet. And although the typical "no photos/camera" rule seems pretty archaic in these days of super-powerful and slim digital point-and-shoot cameras, some bands and venues don't allow cameras of any kind during their shows, while others only allow small, digital versions.
For me, if I'm taking pictures or video of an artist at a concert, it's for my own memory and nostalgia.

On a number of its new digital-camera models, HP has introduced a new "slimming feature," which promises to trim pounds off of your photo subjects using imaging trickery. You can read about the details here, but basically, the nifty tool subtly makes people appear trimmer while still maintaining normal body proportions. The driving philosophy behind this product seems to be, Why lose weight if you can look better in photos regardless?

Peter Andre arrived back at Heathrow Airport yesterday with Junior in his arms, after their family holiday in Cyprus with Harvey and Princess. While Kate's had a cross tattooed over Peter's name on her wrist, Peter's still got his Katie tattoo on his finger. Kate headed to the stables again this morning, having visited her horses yesterday, and has donated prizes to equine charity HorseWorld's sponsored ride.

I'm all for emergency measures to keep your gadgets protected, like using a pillowcase as a sub for a laptop sleeve.
This tip for smaller gadgets came to me while I was rummaging through my junk drawer — you can use a soft sunglasses case, the kind that's made out of that thick, soft spongy material (not unlike a mouse pad) and slide your iPhone, iPod, (or if it's slim enough, camera) inside. And it's much better than a sock!
