Dysmenorrhea. A big word meaning severe aching and throbbing menstrual cramps. About 50% of women have painful periods (no wonder we're all so unhappy).

Several studies have shown Yoga to be a powerful therapy in reducing the frequency and intensity of asthma attacks. I also found that when I'm practicing Yoga regularly, I can decrease my prescription meds.
Yoga is all about pranayama (breathing), which is great for meditation, but it's also good for your lungs.

Ever had a migraine? If you answered "no" - well then you are lucky. If you answered "yes" you don't need me to tell you that migraine headaches are both unbearable and disabling.

Although the major part of this Comic Relief fundraising event is The Sport Relief Weekend from Friday 14 — Sunday 16 March, the fun has already started and there's lots to look forward to throughout the week. Here's a taste of what to expect:
- Leona Lewis, who went to South Africa to witness first hand the work that's being done with the funds, is releasing the official single "Footprints in the Sand" today. Buy the single and you can enjoy great music and help a great cause at the same time.
- Tune in to the Sport Portraits documentary tonight and tomorrow to see how six artists capture the personality of three sporting heroes: Sir Peter Blake and Gerald Scarfe take on boxer Ricky Hatton; Jack Vettriano and Rankin depict royal horse-rider Zara Phillips; and Stella Vine and ex-cricketer Jack Russell capture footballer Didier Drogba.
- On Wednesday you can watch the first part of Sport Relief Does The Apprentice.

After reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro at the weekend, the celebrities who took on the climb for Comic Relief arrived back in the UK yesterday. A very tired looking Gary Barlow still managed to smile alongside Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Alesha Dixon and Denise Van Outen. A reportedly furious Cheryl kept it together for the cameras, but she'll no doubt have words with Ashley when he returns on Wednesday after his match in Italy.

Gavin And Stacey's Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones take the lead on the Comic Relief charity single this year as their characters Bryn and Nessa, recreating their duet from the series "Islands In The Stream". This time around though, they're in America for a karaoke contest and they've got some help from living legend Tom Jones!
The single is out on Monday (March 9), it's for a great cause and the video made me laugh thanks to the implications of a past between Nessa and Tom, so check it out and let me know — will you spin it or sling it?

After their performance at the Brit Awards last week, those Take That boys Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen wrapped up warm to film the video for their forthcoming single "The Garden" in the Maritime Museum's grounds in Greenwich. Gary took time out from his Kilimanjaro training schedule to join his band mates for the shoot, and it's good to hear that his recent back injury hasn't affected him too badly, as he said: "We have all been training for about six months and it’s been going really great for me — then in January I had a bad injury in my back. But don’t worry, it’s healing fast and I’m going to be leading the pack."

Kate Moss continued to party in London last night, joining Sadie Frost for a meal at the Ivy after Sadie performed her one-woman stage show and Kate watched for a second time. It's not all about leisure time for Kate at the moment, though, as she's been busy filming a comedy sketch for Comic Relief dressed as a teacher alongside Katy Brand's school pupil version of the supermodel. Kate is also launching a new perfume called Summer Time in April, which ties in nicely with her appearance at the opening of the NYC Topshop on 2nd April.
