Stars From J Lo to Will Smith Honor MJ at This Is It LA Premiere

Michael Jackson's final masterpiece, This Is It hit theaters at midnight last night, with a star-studded LA premiere just a few hours earlier to celebrate. MJ's brothers Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and Randy posed together to support the project while stars of stage and screen came together to honor the King of Pop. Will Smith doesn't do a ton of red carpets these days, but couldn't miss this one and NPH was dapper in black. Ashley Tisdale pulled her High School Musical costar Monique Coleman close while Adam Lambert and Katy Perry looked like two peas in a pod. Michael Jackson's last performance footage has done amazingly well in presales and he clearly has the love of all his celebrity fans and friends - including close pal Elizabeth Taylor - as it hits theaters for a special run.

Jennifer Lopez pouted for the camera after another weekend supporting the Dolphins in Miami. Paris Hilton went a little more risqué in her black ensemble while Tisdale paid homage to the man of the night with her vintage t-shirt. Paula Abdul was filled with emotion watching Michael up on the big screen. There will surely be a lot more reactions and praise as crowds flock to see MJ's famous moves in the peek at his preparations for his comeback concerts that never were able to be.

The A-List Help Simon Cowell Celebrate His 50th in Style

Simon Cowell turns 50 on Wednesday, so he gathered his A-list pals at Wrotham Park mansion on Saturday for a lavish party. His fellow X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh plus presenters Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary joined the celebrations, with Dannii and Louis both buying him a mirror. Simon's Britain's Got Talent colleagues Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were also spotted leaving the party. Simon's such a popular guy, his friends will even cross oceans to congratulate him on his milestone birthday, and Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson made the trip to represent American Idol.

Kate Moss continued the birthday celebrations of last week with Jamie Hince, while James Corden and David Walliams shared a lift. Gordon and Tana Ramsay and Naomi Campbell also joined the party, which was Simon themed with waiters wearing masks of his face and alphabet spaghetti spelling out his name! There were also giant inflatable sex toys to entertain the guests at the party, which reportedly cost £2million. It sounds like such a fun night!

Victoria Heads to Boston While Keeping the Judging Seat Warm

Victoria Beckham joined Ryan Seacrest and the rest of the American Idol judges in Boston yesterday for their latest round of auditions. She was also with the gang last week in Denver, though her repeat appearances don't mean she's angling to permanently take over for Paula Abdul. Victoria's rep says she's only a temporary replacement, since Posh is focusing more on her designing career these days. In fact, she was wearing one of her own creations, which Elle Macpherson sported just a few days earlier.

Victoria Beckham Will Guest Judge On American Idol!

It's been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will be a guest judge on the next series of American Idol, replacing departing judge Paula Abdul temporarily.

It will be a one off appearance on the show, which has approximately 26 million viewers watching avidly each episode.

Paula Abdul announced that she had left the show on her Twitter page, saying that,"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return."

Victoria is rumoured to be filming her part of the show this week, which will be sure to raise her profile even further! Congratulations Victoria!

Posh, Eva, and More Help Elton Raise Money After the Oscars

For many stars, Elton John's annual charitable Oscar party was the destination last night, and for others it was a stop along the way. Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Chace Crawford were just a handful of the beautiful people who stepped out to attend his 17th Oscar bash, which raised $4 million for AIDS by the end of the night. Kate Beckinsale had her husband Len as her date, while Ben Stiller ditched his Joaquin beard to chat up Ryan Seacrest. Elton took his turn at the piano to play "Benny and the Jets" for his guests and also shared a few words, saying, "People are going through tremendous hardship. In this time of hardship, we are going to raise as much money as we possibly can."

Simon Cowell looked happy to have Terri Seymour back on his arm after their recent split, while Quincy Jones was especially proud of his date, daughter Rashida. Claire Danes celebrated with her new fiance Hugh Dancy, and fellow musicians Josh Groban and Carrie Underwood got to take a night off from performing to celebrate a different aspect of the entertainment industry. Elton's was just one of the many star-studded afterparties the night offered, but combining a special cause with the festivities was an added Oscar night bonus.

Couples Galore Join Elton on Oscars Night

Lots of stars from our side of the pond joined their fellow British celebrity Elton John for his 17th Annual AIDS Foundation Oscars Party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood last night. It was certainly an evening for couples, with Jordan and Peter Andre rubbing shoulders with Gordon and Tana Ramsay, who are putting their recent troubles behind them. American and British unions were also represented by Claire Danes and her fiance Hugh Dancy plus Mamma Mia costars and couple Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper.

There were also lots of pairs of buddies at the party, with BFFs Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria coordinating their all-black outfits while Eve and Dita Von Teese showed off their bright dresses. American Idol pals Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson hugged while Simon Cowell and Terri Seymour proved they're still close. Some of my favourite men like Chace Crawford, Kiefer Sutherland and Gerard Butler were happy to pose alone, as were female stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kate Beckinsale and Carrie Underwood.

Jennifer and Beyonce Have the Image For the NAACP Awards

The stars brought out the glamour last night for the 40th NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA: vote on all the red carpet looks here. Seal sang after Cosmo cover girl and Female Artist winner Beyonce opened the show, while Jennifer Hudson performed for President's Award winner Muhammad Ali and was named New Artist, saying: "This is where we come from. So it's always an honor to come home and feel welcome and to feel the love. I really cherish this and appreciate it." Halle Berry had a few costume changes as host for the night, and a winning Will Smith was buddies with everyone from Chairman's Award winner Al Gore and TV Movie Actor recipient Diddy to the team behind The Secret Life of Bees. To finish, Stevie Wonder took to the stage to bring an inspirational end to a great evening.

Are You Excited About American Idol?

If you're suffering from X Factor withdrawal symptoms then fear not, as American Idol returns to our screens today to fill the talent show shaped void in our TV schedules. The eighth season, which premieres on ITV2 at 8pm tonight, has a few changes, and Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will be joined by a fourth judge: songwriter Kara DioGuardi. I'm confident this season will uncover world-class talent; after all, this is the show that brought us awesome live performers and winners who have become so famous they even have their own waxworks! I'd love to know what you think about the new season, so tell me: are you excited about American Idol?

Which American Idol Judge Would You Ditch?

There have been rumors flying recently that Paula Abdul could be on her way out of American Idol to work on other TV projects. Adding fuel to the fire is the addition of a fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi, which means the panel wouldn't be shorthanded if Paula did take off. Now, her publicist has said the rumor is "absolutely untrue," but it got me thinking. If you could get rid of one of the original three judges, which one would you choose to ditch, and why?

Star-Studded Celebrity Roster Supports Idol Gives Back

Idol Gives Back brought out quite the crowd from all different areas of the entertainment industry for the taping in Hollywood last night. Reese and Brad shared their pretty faces with the audience, while Mariah and Miley were among the musical performers of the night. Teri showed off her pipes (even though most of you wish she wouldn't) and Fergie took the stage to do a song with Heart. As for the theme of the night, Carrie Underwood summed it up nicely, saying, "It's not about self-promoting. It's not about singing your latest single. It's not about trying to be the most-downloaded whatever on iTunes. It's all about getting people to call in and do something." The charitable special airs this Wednesday, and we can't wait to check out the wonderful edition of one of our favorite shows.
