I feel like the most effective arm exercise in the world is the push-up and just because you are working out in a pool doesn't mean you have to skip them. Doesn't that make you happy? You can do a push-up variation using the side of the pool.

On my third round of 20 push-ups, I was hesitant to put my hands down on the floor at Equinox. It had nothing to do with the state of the gym floor; I was suffering. This is when Hannah gave me a great simple tip that I am going to pass onto you.

While traveling with my parents several years back, they made some "grown-up" friends at the resort. Later, running into one woman by the pool, my mom introduced me. The woman's response upon hearing my name: "Ohhh, that's my dog's name."

How much say should parents have in their children's education? In an age where adults are known to begin educating babies in the womb, obsess over their tots' preschool admissions, and sign them up for dozens of activities, it's no wonder that some parents try and control their child's class placement. Whether it's mom asking that her son not be placed in the same class as his nemesis, or dad requesting a specific teacher based on reports from PTA members, principals deal with a legion of requests.

When you're at the gym strength training, it's unlikely that you imagine yourself hauling a 50-pound block of cheese uphill or dead-lifting a pig on spit. Embedded video from CNN VideoA 23-month-old doesn't come to mind when one conjures up the image of a pool shark, but it should. Keith O'Dell, 23 months old, keeps his eye on the eight ball and can't stand to scratch! The tot who is likely still in diapers spends two to three hours a day angling his stick around his mini felt table perfecting shots.

I think the latest episode of Greatest American Dog should have been called puppies! It's like TV gold, just mix it up by adding over a dozen adorable Golden Retriever pups. I caught up with Beth Joy, who was eliminated this week, and she opened up about the last episode and her cute pooch, Bella Starlet Dog.

Causes
- People with fibromyalgia have decreased activity in opioid receptors in parts of the brain that affect mood and the emotional aspect of pain, researchers have found. This might explain why fibromyalgia patients are likely to experience depression, and are not very responsive to opioid painkillers.
- Researchers have identified a conflict between sensory perception and nervous system processing in people with fibromyalgia. One study suggests that people with the condition might have greater awareness of, or less tolerance for, movement problems (such as tremor) that don't match with their expected sensory feedback.

HEALTH GUIDE REFERENCE FROM A.D.A.M
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a long-term (chronic) disease that causes inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues. It can also affect other organs.
RA destroys the protective tissue (cartilage) surrounding the joints. Healthy cartilage allows bones to glide smoothly over one another, and absorbs the shock of physical movement.
