The last time I had to pick out a pair of glasses, I felt stricken with guilt that I was taking up too much of the salesperson's time. He'd pick out a style, I'd pick out another one, and it went like this back and forth for about an hour. So you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered a cool site on Digital Inspiration called Frame Finder, that allows you to try on glasses virtually.

One of the things I love about attending Fashion Week is the abundance of fash lit. Virtually every local NYC magazine and newspaper creates special spreads for the tents, and Fashion Week Daily is my everyday fashion breakfast/waiting reading.
This Friday, I will keep my eyes peeled for Arise Magazine.

Last night while I was typing away, I got a pop–up request to accept a video conference call from my cousin in NYC.
As soon as I hit the "accept" key, I saw my cousin, her husband and their precious new baby girl.
We chatted for nearly an hour and showed off our offspring.

It's pretty rare to see an interview with François Nars, and even in this one, he's not exactly what you'd call a blabbermouth. But what he does say reveals a lot about his brand philosophy. And he's certainly had great success with his line of cosmetics—making enough money to purchase a small island in the South Pacific.
