The snow's a-flowing where some of you live, and that makes skiers, riders, and snowshoers very happy. To prepare your legs for the excessive stress on your quads, knees, and shins, it's best to condition yourself for the downhill. There are a few commercial treadmills available that offer a decline option, but instead of springing for a brand new piece of equipment, you can just raise the back of the one you have.

Now that Winter is in full force, I'm sure many of you spend your weekends skiing or snowboarding. Nothing beats the excitement and anticipation of standing at the top of a white mountain and looking down the slope. Last night's Vampire Diaries was all about the formal wear, history and, swoon, some shirtless Salvatores. The series is doing a great job of slowly revealing the back story of the vampires in Mystic Falls while also progressing the romances and of course the brother-rivalry which has taken a pretty central spot so far.
Bonnie is still figuring out her powers, without much help from her friends or anyone else, but she's quietly becoming one of my favorite parts of the show.

Being aerobically fit decreases your chance for body soreness due to muscle fatigue and injury. But you have got to add a little anaerobic work into the mix, since skiing and boarding both require short, quick bursts of energy.

French designer Yves Saint Laurent, who passed away in June 2008, is known for his iconic fashions. However, the designer also had a discerning eye when it came to the world of real estate. His Moroccan home, Villa Mabrouka, or "House of Luck," is currently on the market, and I am swooning over the house's location, style, and interior design.
