She did it all on her own, by watching what she ate, walking and swimming with her family, and doing strength training moves like crunches and squats.

I just found out that today is Love Your Body Day. Although it might be a little late in the day, you still have a few hours to love your body, and don't stop the love when the clock strikes midnight. Being kind to yourself is an important mindset to maintain.

When Frank Bruni announced he'd be stepping down as the New York Times's restaurant critic, readers were left with a pressing question: Who will step up to the dinner plate? The food world waited collectively with bated breath until the answer was announced today: Sam Sifton, the paper's current Culture editor, will begin reviewing in October.

The first couple have continued to convey political messages about food with their recent dining choices. The Obamas spent Saturday evening in Manhattan, where they dined at James Beard Award-winning chef Dan Barber's restaurant Blue Hill before catching a Broadway show.
Within hours, news sites were awash with commentary on the first couple's romantic dinner.

"I was born Catholic, I was baptised, but in my life I feel profoundly secular. I find that the controversy coming from the pope's (anti-condom) message — albeit distorted by the media — is very damaging. In Africa it's often church people who look after sick people.

After enduring harsh criticism from the media about her curvier than usual figure, Jessica Simpson appeared on the cover of OK! magazine with the headline "I Will Lose 20 Lbs in 8 Weeks!" The mag is calling it her "revenge diet" against her body critics and sources said that it will be easier for Jessica to achieve her goal when her stressful tour has ended.
