Sweating is a totally natural process that allows our bodies to stay cool. The floodgates can also start under our pits when we are in certain social situations, due to anxiety and nerves. Some people even have to deal with excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), and while liposuction is one way to deal with it, good old FDA approved botox is another.

Maybe you have heard of botox treatments being used to curtail excessive armpit sweating, now a new technique is on the block.
Well, not really a new technique, per se, but an old technique applied for a new purpose. Liposuction techniques have been used by German doctors on 51 patients as a treatment for extreme underarm sweating.

When I'm exercising, whether it is at the gym, in a class, or outside, there are usually people working out around me. I can't help but notice that some people "sweat like pigs," and some are barely glistening. Why is that?

I have this totally embarrassing problem...I don't perspire, I sweat. I am not overweight by any means, I eat well, drink water and exercise. I've tried every deodorant out there to no avail.

There aren't many winners in this economy, so it's interesting to see which businesses are posting profits and getting it done despite the recession. It has become clear that hygiene is of the utmost importance as of late because dentistry and deodorant makers have been sitting pretty through the crisis.
Dentists attribute an uptick in client visits to a couple of patterns: People are grinding their teeth so much because of economy-related stress and need dental work because of it; those without dental insurance are putting off appointments to the point where they need serious work; and nervous employees with insurance are rushing to get to the dentist while they still have coverage.

Dear Sugar
I am an 18 year old girl who suffers from excessive sweating in my armpits. I sweat through all my t-shirts and have sweat stains that are embarrassing and impossible to hide. When it is warm outside, I am too embarrassed to raise my arm in class because my sweat stains are so noticeable.

Products marketed toward female athletes always pique my interest. Plus it is great to know that somebody out there knows we exist and like gear! When I saw a new antiperspirant by Secret with the word "sport" as well as the phrase "designed for athletes" on the front of the package, I was curious to try it.
