One of my favorite things about the Fourth of July is firing up the grill. Not only is grilling a great way to cook a tasty meal, but it's also a fabulous way to trim down the fat. Use my tips to keep your barbecue healthy this holiday weekend.

Salty crunchy foods top my list of things I crave, but generally the words "salty" and "crunchy" are synonymous with unhealthy. So I continuously check out my local health-food store to find new crave-worthy snacks that aren't high in fat and sodium. I just discovered a new chip by
FoodShouldTasteGood featuring sweet potatoes.

Who isn't trying to eat more veggies in their diet. All those carrots, peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, and tomatoes are so full of vitamins and fiber, and they're also low in calories so they help you maintain a healthy weight. The problem is, they're not exactly an easy convenience food since it takes time to prepare them.
Summer is finally here. More so in some parts of the country, but there is still heat to be found. Summer also means an abundance of fruits and veggies are in season and super tasty right now.

There are bound to be barbecues a plenty this Fourth of July weekend. With this
