Meringue

The good old egg is an excellent source of protein. I always order scrambled eggs or an omelet when I go out to brunch, but I know many women who ditch the yolks and only order egg whites.

Eggs are making a serious comeback as more and more chefs are using them in dishes outside of breakfast. I never understood why eggs were considered an ingredient basically for breakfast. They are as versatile as potatoes and can be prepared in many different ways, so why only eat them in the morning?

Omega-3 eggs are great, but don't waste your money buying fortified eggs if you only eat egg whites.
Eggs fortified with Omega-3 fatty acids are a great way to increase the amount of those polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet. However, if you buy Omega-3 eggs, then you need to eat the yolks because that is where the Omega-3s are found.

Each Easter, since 1994, every state has sent a decorated egg to the White House. The eggs are created by artists from across the US and are decorated to represent each of the 50 states (plus one for DC). The collection is coordinated by the American Egg Board and this year there's a tiny bit of controversy.

The Victoria's Secret gang was ready to let loose last night at the M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC after their fabulous runway show. Heidi Klum was the last of the Angels to arrive, stepping onto the pink carpet following her surprise turn on the catwalk. After giving birth just last month, she looked amazing in a slick, tight, black and white dress.
