Who likes going to the dentist? I don't like going whatsoever, and I even asked my dentist if she likes to go and she admitted that it's not always fun, but it is necessary. So we force ourselves to go, but many of us may not like it one bit.

When I have a cavity filled all I can say is praise to the Novocaine. When my dad was little, his dentist didn't use local anesthetics, and my poor dad had to sit in the chair knowing he was in for a whole lot of pain. My jaw hurts just thinking about it.

Dragging his feet this weekend, Barack Obama changed his tune on offshore drilling. Obama said he would be willing to support drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, in exchange for a comprehensive alternative energy plan which would include ending oil company tax breaks, and extending tax credits to those searching for alternative fuels.

Call it a predilection, an idée fixe, or simply a weird fascination, but I've always had a penchant for Continental dishes with unique names and even more intriguing histories. But it wasn't until I took the time to look up some of the foods that I realized many of the dishes aren't just named after their creator or an inspirational figure, but also other oddities, like locales, plays, and even battles.
Since many of you scored so well with your food trivia the first time around, just for kicks, I thought I'd test you again.
