A couple of Summers ago my mom and I were driving and passed a roadside stand that sold "every kind of jerky" — including bison and venison. We wondered who would stop to purchase the jerky. Fast forward a few hours and we arrive home to find my father snacking on jerky he bought from the stand!

Designer Jason Miller created the Woolly chair from a whole, tanned bison hide, which was folded and sewn onto pieces of industrial wool felt. Is it your style, or is it a little too wild and wooly for your taste?

If your pup dines on Timberwolf Organics brand dog food, then sit up and take note! Timberwolf has voluntarily recalled two formulas from their line of pet food due to customers reporting instances of dogs vomiting, diarrhea, and refusing to eat. Affected formulas include the Dakota Bison and Ocean Blue lines with the following "best by" dates printed on the bag:
Dakota Bison: best by date of February 12, 2009
Ocean Blue: best by date of February 20, 2009
Ocean Blue: best by date of March 8, 2009
If you have either of these affected formulas with the dates noted as above, you can simply take the bags back to the retailer you purchased them from for a refund or a store credit.

Memphis' Shelby Farms is one of the largest urban parks in the US with around 4,500 acres of forest, wetlands, and meadows. With horseback riding, a resident herd of bison, and many other animals that call this park home, there's plenty of nature to observe. In addition to the park's many people-geared features (like picnics and paddleboats), there is a multi-acre off-leash dog park for the pooches!

Some friends of mine are trying to convince me to go camping with them in the near future and I may be into it simply because of all the cool gadgets that you can bring along with you. My newest little gadget discover really makes me think I should consider camping more seriously...
The Firefly Light Up Lid is this cool little contraption that allows you to light up most (including Nalgene, GSI, Cyclone, Bison, Stansport, etc.) standard sized wide mouth bottles, turning them into a cool and super handy lantern.
