Picture this: You just had the date of your dreams, so when he invites you to his place for a little night cap, you immediately say yes without hesitation. After a glass of wine, your stomach starts rumbling and you realize that extra spicy Tandoori chicken dish maybe wasn't the best ordering option for your first date. Next thing you know, you're in his bathroom, wondering how you'll be able to drown out unwanted restroom noise.

I think that floating candles in a bathtub is absolutely romantic, but when it comes down to it, who has the time? I can imagine doing so on a romantic vacation, but it's not my style for a weekly bath at home.

Fed up with a foggy bathroom mirror? Then add some shaving cream. As odd as it sounds, using some cheap, white foaming shaving cream can keep your bathroom mirror from fogging while you shower.

Craftster member Nichola accomplished the admirable feat of making over her bathroom for under $80. Cheap, chic makeovers are always inspiring, and Nichola's bathroom definitely fits the bill. Before Nichola's bathroom got to this "before" status you see here, she spent three nights removing ugly, decrepit wallpaper that may have been original to the house.

One of my least favorite things about chilly Fall mornings is stepping into a freezing bathroom to take a shower. Since I live in the Bay Area, we seldom turn on our central heating, so more often than not, the bathroom feels like an icebox.
Instead of using a space heater, I’m thinking about adding an exhaust vent fan with a heater.

I love the look (and depth) of clawfoot bathtubs, but I certainly don't have room for one in my small bathroom. It's definitely on my wish list though, if we ever renovate. Do you have one at your home?
