You know what a huge fan I am of LARABARs. I love how they taste, but most importantly, I love that the ingredients are just fruit and nuts.
Another thing I love is that there are so many different flavors to choose from like Cashew Cookie and Chocolate.

There's no doubt about it, peanut butter and bananas just go well together — and if you don't agree, just play along. When I saw this recipe for peanut butter and banana cookies, I couldn't believe that I'd never heard of it before. It seemed like such a no brainer, that I knew I'd have to highlight as part of our National Cookie Month coverage.

The other day I posted a recipe for Banana Peanut Butter Cookies and noticed that there was just a bit of rum in that recipe. Rum and bananas pair really well together, so I wondered what other rum/banana creations I could find. I then came across these Banana Rum Coconut Cookies that are a little bit hearty and a lot tasty.

I care a lot about what I put into my body, but I still crave sweet treats. The cookies, cakes, pies, and muffins you buy at the store can be loaded with fat and sugar. Most of them are made with white flour and refined sugars, which offer you no nutritional value whatsoever.

When monthly moodiness strikes, I fight back with baking. Having fought the symptoms of PMS in the past by making a batch of banana muffins, I went to the kitchen to see if I could bake a cookie to ease my symptoms. I created a pretty healthy oatmeal cookie that you can eat relatively guilt-free when the craving strikes.

When I was a kid, one of my favorite desserts was banana pudding with Nilla Wafers. My mom used to make it often, and my siblings and I would chow down on it like there was no tomorrow. I haven't had it in years, but recently someone mentioned Nilla Wafers to me, and they've been on my brain ever since.

Eeny, meeny, miny, mo, have some fun with tic-tac-toe! Turn a meal into a game time gobble with lil jolts of protein and tasty fruit pieces. Moms with a wipe clean place mat at their disposal are at an advantage but anyone with a piece of paper and a pen can play this game.

Every so often I come across a simple recipe and wonder — why on earth didn't I think of that?! While browsing a recent issue of Bon Appétit, this was the case with frozen chocolate-dipped bananas. Frozen chocolate banana Popsicle are a fave, but, with their variety of toppings, these bites are even better!
