The term "active rest" seems a bit oxymoronic, don't you think? It is actually a great practice and I am going tell you about it since I actively believe in it.
If you are training hard, for a race or bikini season, you need to take rest days – at least one and up to three a week.

Talk about a shocker! The low-budget underdog Paranormal Activity has been riding its growing popularity all the way to the top — even upsetting the reigning king of horror, the Saw franchise. Paranormal took in $22 million in its first weekend with a wide release, which has execs talking about a possible sequel.

It's obvious why Wednesday earned its rep as "hump day" — certainly in theory, anyway. Falling exactly in the middle of our week, and signaling the oncoming weekend, it seems a likely day for something special. But not since Wednesday's ritual early dismissal from high school can I recall anything tangible to beat the midweek slump and celebrate the fact that the weekend is almost within reach.

Facebook isn't for everyone, but most of us like the way it keeps us in contact with friends and family — if you can figure out how to work it to your advantage. After the big hullabaloo over the last Facebook revamp, where users claimed that it was confusing and less efficient to use, you'd think that FB would give the facelifts a rest.
