Need a refreshing treat for your wee one? Last week, user fsquaash shared a clever shortcut for making quick and nutritious treats for lil ones. She said: Take a baby yogurt cup and stick a Popsicle stick (or plastic spoon handle) through the top.

Even though it may be cold outside, I still crave ice cream (it's one of my downfalls). Store bought frozen yogurt is so much healthier than ice cream but many can contain a lot of added sugar. Instead, I like to whip up a batch of frozen yogurt popsicles with fresh fruit.

Here at Sugar HQ, everyone is crazy for the new, dangerously close frozen yogurt joint, SoGreen. After consuming a couple of SoGreen's delicious, fruity treats, I decided to experiment with my own variation. Currently I'm obsessed with Popsicles, so naturally, I was inspired to make a frozen yogurt Popsicle.

Summer's upon us and kids are vying for ice cream, sno cones, and popsicles — any sweet treat that keeps them cool. If you want to satisfy their cravings with a healthier alternative, try this trick. Take Stonyfield YoKids Squeezers or Horizon Organic Yogurt Tubes and pop them in the freezer overnight before handing them off to your tots as frozen treats.

After reading all your wonderful snack suggestions my afternoon snack has transformed into an inspired treat. There were so many great ideas, and I love reading that you all eat your fruits and veggies throughout the day.
Aside from the various energy bars and seasonal fruit that we all eat and love, here are some great snack ideas:
- Edamame
- Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
- Whole grain wheat thins with the Laughing Cow light garlic and herb cheese
- Radishes or cucumbers with balsamic vinegar
- 2 Wasa Crackers with 2 tablespoons of Trader Joe's chipotle hummus spread on and topped with sliced grape tomatoes
- 100 calorie mini bag of popcorn
- Non-fat or low fat yogurt (Greek yogurt is higher in protein) and fruit or cereal or both

I'll eat just about any sweet, frozen treat, from gelato to Dr. Pepper popsicles. But frozen yogurt has the added bonus of being low-fat and trendy!
