Is drinking beer and making women do all the work really the dream of all men? According to this Bud Light commercial, the answer is yes. (If anything, this seems like an ad calling for more women as creatives in the advertising industry!)

Jenna Bush's Wedding Cake: Love It or Hate It?

The President's daughter, Jenna Bush, was recently married in a lavish but down-to-earth wedding at her family's ranch in Texas. Few details have been released about the ceremony, reception, and menu but rumor has it the cake was created by the Ultimate Cheesecake Bakery. The tres leches/dulce de leche cake had whipped cream frosting and fresh floral arrangements. By the time this photo was taken, the top tier of the confection had started to fall. While it's sad the top was tilting, it's probably something the happy couple will laugh about for years to come. I'm a huge fan of dulce de leche and can only imagine how delicious the cake must have tasted. Thoughts?

Wedding Day Workout

Most grooms participate in some sport or athletic activity (golf, soccer, football, etc) on the morning of their wedding day. This is how they ease the tension and I must say the grooms have it right - the name of the game here is stress relief, not last minute weight loss. Come the day of, or even weekend of, your wedding, hopefully you've already done your best from an exercise perspective and one last workout will not do much in terms of dropping pounds. However, what it may do is calm you down, especially if you're feeling any last minute stress or jitters.

The problem is that most brides do not have enough time to feed themselves the day of their wedding, let alone time to fit in a workout or group activity. However, if you have been working out on a regular basis for a year (or even six months) up until your big day, you've probably noticed that working out is a great stress reliever and mood booster -- Two things you might need at this point. So, think about trying and finding a way to fit it in with these three tips:

Stick to your routine: If your body is used to going on a two mile run every Saturday morning, then try to fit it in. Maybe you switch the run to a Friday morning, instead of Saturday, but I am sure you'll feel great when it's done and you'll be ready to hit the ground running (literally and figuratively). Invite your out-of-towner pals, or even get your husband-to-be (only on jogs the day before, that is), to join you. This is a great time to actually have a conversation with them/him before (or during) all the commotion that is your wedding weekend.

Yoga: Get all your maids together for a pre hair and make-up yoga session. Not only will you (and all your girls) feel great from getting a little workout in, you'll also feel more relaxed and ready for your close-ups.

Stretching: If you can find the time to fit in anything, at the very least, do a little stretching when you wake up the morning of your big day. Pay more attention to your lower body as most brides are on their feet (in high heels, might I add) the entire day of their wedding.

Ok, so this might seem a little extreme, but if your parents are anything like mine, all they want is some time with you. I wrote about a great Dude Ranch vacation once. It was at the HF Bar Ranch, in Saddlestring, WY, and what a time we had! It was a fabulous bonding experience for my man and my folks - and my parents were beyond thrilled to spend five whole days horsing around with us!

Take a Break from Wedding Planning: Workout!

If you're engaged and well into wedding planning then you're probably (or you're about to be) bombarded with a million things wedding related. Flowers, dress, food, venue, etc. One piece of advice: Take a workout break.

I know it sounds odd, but a good workout may be your only chance to get a moment for yourself to stop thinking about how much you have to do for the wedding. Turn your phone off, bring a good book or magazine that is NOT wedding related (such things do exist, I swear) and take that aggression out on a treadmill and pair of free weights. Feeling really overwhelmed? Maybe your fiancé is driving you up the wall with his lack of cooperation? Hit the punching bag for a few minutes. Taking a workout break will not only help tone you up before the big day, but it will give you some "you, the bride" time and you'll feel energized and ready to go for everything else that comes your way.

jhilly123's Favorite Romantic Comedies

My favorite category! I was actually going to tackle this topic earlier, but hadn't gotten around to doing it. These are just ones that come immediately to my mind and I may think of ones later that I'd forgotten (which is usually the case). Even if the endings are usually predictable, rom-coms always make me laugh and are great movies to watch when you want to relax.

Love Actually: One of my favorite movies ever, Richard Curtis (the director) is a genius. The stories and characters intertwine really well, and you feel satisfied (if that's possible) after seeing it. I've probably watched it 100 times already.
Bridget Jones' Diary: How could this not be on the list? It was on my other list as my onscreen favorite couple, but Renee is so hilarious as Bridget Jones.

Miss Congeniality: I think Sandra Bullock's the romantic comedy Queen-many of her movies are my favorites, she just knows how to make people laugh. Plus I love Benjamin Bratt and Michael Caine.
Two Weeks Notice: See what I mean? And Hugh Grant is the King of romantic comedies-I love this film and the New York vibe I get from watching it. Plus the banter between the two is really cute.

The Wedding Date: Although I've read the book (and the entire story is different, minus the plot), I love this version and I find Dermot Mulroney so hot. Plus it takes place in England, and I'm obsessed with all things British.
You've Got Mail: I love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks' collaborations!
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: Another great romantic comedy. Don't you love Kate's yellow dress?
When Harry Met Sally: Classic right? Well Meg Ryan is really good in romantic comedies and it does answer the question as to whether or not men and women can be friends!
27 Dresses: This just came out more recently, but I love Katherine and James' banter throughout the film. Benny and the Jets!
13 Going On 30: I've always been a fan of Jennifer Garner and I love the premise behind the film. Plus Mark Ruffalo is really cute in the film.

Jesse issued a public apology yesterday, but you guys are still very surprised by the stories surrounding him. New details about Michelle keep coming out, including disturbing images from a Nazi-themed photo shoot and information about her and Jesse's trysts.
