Baking is one of my favorite pasttimes, and I just entered the realm of meringues.
With meringue, you either love it or leave it and my girls love it. I tried this simple dessert recently and was quite pleased with the results. It was interesting to see which dinner guests ate the sorbet and which ate the meringue; my family certainly ate both.

Before you sit down to your Mother's Day brunch, go for a run with your children or mother. A mimosa tastes much better after running a 5k. I think it is important to run intergenerationally so your kids can see that you are physically active and strong.

Guess which mom is out shopping in the local farmer's market with her family?
It's adorable Violet's mom Jennifer Garner. I've gotta say, seeing her buying local (and organic, I'm sure) produce at the farmer's market just adds to the million and one reasons why I love her.
