While I enjoyed 500 Days of Summer, I have to agree with babache - the director really tried too hard by inserting too many styles cribbed from other movies (the split screen! the dance
montage! the black and white! the voiceover! the he said she said!). My faves were District 9 and Up.

I think Up is DEFINITELY the best movie that I've seen in a long time.
1My favorite movie this summer was definitely 500 Days of Summer.
2I loved The Hangover and I really enjoyed 500 Days of Summer as well.
3I really disliked 500 days of Summer : there is nothing going on, it's very cliché, and The actors are not that great. i was really disappointed
