When it comes down to it, Easter is really all about eggs and plenty of them. There always seems to be an excess of hardboiled eggs after the day's festivities wind down. The eternal Easter question seems to be, what to do with all those left over eggs?

I love eggs and it being Easter, I thought I would celebrate with a quiz about them! Not only are they lovely when dyed, they are nutritious! Take this short quiz and see how well you know eggs.

Easter is coming up this Sunday, and for those of you who celebrate and are also trying to watch your weight, this means another holiday of dealing with candy and sweets. The positive side is that there is no rule that says you have to fill your Easter basket with pounds of chocolate eggs and jellybeans. Fill your basket with these healthier alternatives instead:
- Carrots (since the Easter Bunny likes to share)
- Fresh fruit
- Homemade cookies that are filled with healthy ingredients like oats, raisins, dried cranberries, walnuts, and dark chocolate chips
- Bars of Dark chocolate
- Colored eggs made with homemade dyes
- Dark chocolate covered peanuts, pretzels, or raisins
- Mini banana bread muffins
- Fitness DVDs
- A scented candle
- Animal shaped hand soaps (my girls love these)

It's the long Easter weekend, and judging by the traffic jams yesterday most of you are driving back to see your families. I guess some of you will be looking for a fun family outing, so I've got a suggestion for you – go and see Dr Seuss tale, Horton Hears A Who.
It rightfully topped the US box office, had the biggest movie opening of 2008 and entertained kids and adults alike.

Spring will officially be here by week's end. This season is known for heavy pastel makeup shades, and 2008 is no exception. As we've seen in my post about Festive Floral Spring Beauty Buys, beauty brands have made pretty and pale floral products a big part of their offerings.
