Most grooms participate in some sport or athletic activity (golf, soccer, football, etc) on the morning of their wedding day. This is how they ease the tension and I must say the grooms have it right - the name of the game here is stress relief, not last minute weight loss. Come the day of, or even weekend of, your wedding, hopefully you've already done your best from an exercise perspective and one last workout will not do much in terms of dropping pounds.

If you're engaged and well into wedding planning then you're probably (or you're about to be) bombarded with a million things wedding related. Flowers, dress, food, venue, etc. One piece of advice: Take a workout break.

Yes, here on the Sugar Network we are wrapping up our wedding coverage. The honeymoon may be over, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get physical with your honey.
Now that you are settling back into "real-life" and life as a married couple, I suggest scheduling some exercise time together.

Did you get extra fit to look stunning in your gown? Or maybe you worked out extra hard to be the hottest bridesmaid wearing the ugliest dress? Maybe the big event you were losing weight for was your 10 year or 20 year high school reunion.

Ok, so I really want to get in a post before I run out of time before I leave tomorrow before dawn for my trip to SLC for my friend's wedding. I am very proud to report that I have exercised as I planned for two weeks, every day (I will double check later to make sure that's true) since my boyfriend's visit! Who hoo!

This is easier for me to remember, I didn't do much Mon and Tues besides run around like a maniac, which kind of counts, right? Since those two days were a bust, I really decided to go for it and drove out to the gym to get in a good workout yesterday after work, and I did a lot of different stuff I wanted to remember, so I'm doing a one-day log:
Wed - for cardio did 20m on the stepmill at level 10. Really got the heart rate up.

Most certainly not a typical week, shocker, I know. Why is summer so crazy? You look forward to it all summer, but then there's so much going on that it all rushes by so quick?

The week of my boyfriend being in town was one hectic and lovely week. We went all over New England, NH, VT, MA, RI and had a blast. Unfortunately, we didn't get in too much working out, but here's what did transpire:
Wed - hit the gym in my apartment building with the bf and we lifted.

It's a nice, steamy sunny week so far out here, I'm loving it! The week has been chaotic, but very good and the irregular week is only going to get more interesting with two trips this week, one day-only flight to and from Philly for work on Fri and then a wedding on the Cape! Luckily, I got in decent workouts 2 days so far, and tomorrow will be good for another good one, then I'll do something big on Sunday, Fri and Sat will be near impossible though, we'll see...
