Why The Hills and The City are my favourite hangover cures...
When I first heard about reality TV 'The Hills' I scoffed that it would be sad to sit and watch people doing day to day things on MTV such as sipping cocktails and chatting about boys on the couch. However I found myself enthralled in one certain episode one eve at home (which I later denied) and decided I wouldn't tell a sould about my newfound junk TV obsession.

OK, since you guys were AWESOME at giving me suggestions for new teas, here is a question for the tea drinkers. Do I really need to use a tea kettle? I am the only one in the house who drinks tea.

This just tickled me something terrible, to be very english. I'm sure that all the American Sugarsters will have me by the neck when I say this but, I've never been able to stand Martha Stewart, not to say that she isn't a clever business woman with a very good brand and some ace chefs behind her. So when I read that my absolutely favourite Food Goddess Nigella Lawson had accused Martha Stewart of having a crush on her husband I couldn't help but feel a little childish glee.

I have been wanting to go to the real Citizen Cake in San Francisco's Hayes Valley after getting a delicious cupcake at their shop above the Virgin Records downtown. I finally got a chance this weekend and it was too adorable!
My date and I each ordered chai, which they brought in pretty tea kettles with a separate cup of steamed milk.

They say that patience is a virtue, but lately I feel like I just don't have the time.
I want to be more patient with my kids, with myself, with my husband, with the subway, with traffic lights, with the tea kettle. You get the point, right?
