Oct 23, 2008 - Photo: Chris Richards for The New York Times In the Fashion and Style section of today's New York Times newspaper there is an article that caught my interest called "Gear Test, Compression Socks" (see http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2008/10/22/fashion/1023-PHYSICAL_index.html). During my last two half marathons I've been plagued with calf strain while running the last few miles of each race. Though I've contributed this problem with not in taking enough salt pre-race day, these socks might help with calf fatigue in future races. - 1 Comment
