Good news to fellow gluten free people.... Stonyfield Yogurt is officially CERTIFIED as gluten free.

All of their yogurts, smoothies, and soy-yogurts – except for our YoBaby Plus Fruit & Cereal, YoKids Squeezers, Oikos Greek Yogurt, and frozen yogurt – are certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO). And we’re in the process of getting our other products certified too.

About GFCO Certification
GFCO’s gluten-free certification assures that a product contains less than 10 parts per million (ppm) of gluten (5 ppm of gliadin) and similar proteins from rye and barley as measured by testing methods accepted by analytical associations such as the Association of Analytical Communities.

The GFCO was developed in cooperation with the Orthodox Union (OU), the world’s largest and oldest kosher certification agency. The OU uses nearly 500 field representatives – all proficient in modern food production techniques and chemical and biological processes – to conduct plant inspections and product reviews for the GFCO.

For further information, visit Stonyfield http://www.stonyfield.com/
