Things have changed...

Jul 19, 2008 - possibly for the better. I still suffer from crippling migraine attacks but my neurologist just switched me from Topamax and propranolol for preventatives to Effexor and propranolol. Yes, effexor is a medication for depression but from new studies I've read and that my doctor is participating indicate that the drug may help alter the brain chemistry of migraineurs enough to prevent frequent migraines and reduce the strength of the migraine attacks one suffers. - 1 Comment
