Giggle's recent post on Barbie's dog reminded me of this item I actually saw (yes, and bought for a friend as a gag {no pun intended) gift} in a store a few years ago.
Bah Humbug Sheep
So says the site:
"Baa Humbug! is a little plastic sheep wearing a Santa hat.

I made this for a sixteen year old's "sweet sixteen" birthday party. Lemme tell you, this thing was definitely a process, I couldn't believe that someone wanted a cake this big and involved for a sixteen year old, but I digress.
The cakes were chocolate for the bottom and top tier, and french vanilla for the middle tier, all covered in plain buttercream icing.

My mother is a reader of Woman's Day Magazine (whose recipes I usually love) and she passed on these 2 ingredient recipe cards to me. Sure, some of them are a little odd and I will probably never, ever attempt, but there were a few that immediately grabbed my attention and I can't wait to try out! (Pineapple with coconut sorbet...)
If you want the actually cards to print out and some additional ideas: http://www.womansday.com/food/6577/2-ingredient-recipe-cards.html, http://www.womansday.com/food/6373/none.html
Appetizers
Marinate mixed olives (jar) with freshly grated peel and juice from 1 lemon in refrigerator at least 24 hours.

My boyfriend will be leaving for his first tour at the end of the year and we have been avoiding the topic for a long time. Now that it is soon appraching I have taken an interest in doing everything I can to be prepared.
Well, I recently came across USMC gals ( http://www.usmcgals.com/ ), an online community for all those people who have a loved one in the military.
