Hi Fit,
I recently started running outdoors and am really enjoying it. It's started to cool off, and breathing in the cold air really burns my throat and lungs when I jog. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this?

The idea of aging always seems to be under debate; teenagers can't wait to experience it (or at least up until their 21st birthdays), while people "over the hill" dread its ever-increasing effects. While the process of aging may be inevitable for anyone who possesses human genes (unless you're Demi Moore), there are still a number of ways that you can slow its scary effects without having to dish out cash for plastic surgery. We would still like to be able to have facial expressions by the time we're 70...

WASHINGTON — If you're planning a garage sale or organizing a church bazaar, you'd best beware: You could be breaking a new federal law. As part of a campaign called Resale Roundup, the federal government is cracking down on the secondhand sales of dangerous and defective products.

My Open Letter to Liberals (American Thinker, July 31, 2009) sparked some concerns from readers that I had returned to the warm embrace of Mr. Rogers. Several kind souls even offered to spirit me away to safer pastures, sort of like a conservative witness protection program.
I can understand why it might have looked like I relapsed, perhaps by inhaling too much medical marijuana.

Pregnant women are four times more likely than the general population to need hospital treatment for H1N1 swine flu, data from the US suggests.
The findings from the small-scale study suggest pregnancy does increase the risk of complications without speedy anti-viral treatment.
It also underlines the need to ensure pregnant women are made a top priority when a vaccine becomes available.

This is a really long article (I tried to hit the high points), but it really shows how prescription drugs are becoming more and more of a problem for teens and young adults. Kids don't need to find a way to buy drugs anymore... they can just go to their parents and grandparent's medicine cabinets to get their fix.
