Kobe Bryant is always talking about how no one wants to win more than him, about how all his angst and acrimony comes out of an unparalleled devotion to victory. Well, three years ago, he had a chance to make it so the Los Angeles Lakers wouldn't have to choose between paying Shaquille O'Neal or paying him to keep the championship core together.

Gotta love the long weekends, don't ya? I even am at work right now but since it's not an 'official' work day, I feel fine about it. And, it'll only be a few hours, then I'll do something outside, either a run or bike ride, and then a matinee with my mom and cookout at the folks...if you gotta work, the rest of what I have planned for the day more than makes up for it!

Well well, it was def a crazy few days for me as my last post predicted. I did manage to pull off the morning run that I was planning on though which is great, here's what did manage to go down for working out:
Thurs - I did ten laps around the perimeter of my parent's house and had a speed interval in it in the morning. I was totally winded and felt great afterwards.

Ok, so I have recommitted and things are turning around again, thank goodness. I hate getting into fitness slumps! Here's what went down for the week for me:
Mon - double shift, lots of running around during the hostessing gig
Tues - 24 hr visit with the boyfriend, no working out
Wed - same as Mon
Thurs - 20 min very intense session on the stepmill bc of time crunch
Fri - 30 min arc trainer, level 10, then yoga, abs (still sore today and it's Sunday) and stretching
Sat - 25 min bike ride outside on lots of large hills, kept the resistance high so I really worked my legs.
