Tandoori turkey in the oven
For a few years now I've wanted to try to marry the traditional Southern Indian food my husband grew up enjoying with Thanksgiving as I know it (Southern girl with a love of spice and heat).
So this year I did a trial run of a tandoori-style turkey made in the oven. By next year I hope to build my own tandoor, or at least grill this guy, because it needs a little more heat to crisp up properly.

Well I just Very Very recently turned 20... and I've noticed my cousin (by marriage) has been staring at me. The other day when I'd come home from a party I was dressed nice and my friend loet me borrow a low cut shirt - I don't usually wear them I feel uncomfortable wearing them, but I figured wth it's a party anyway - I hadn't really noticed he was staring at the time because my cousin and I were in a heated discussion about family problems.

The massacre at Fort Hood last week is the perfect apotheosis of the liberal victimology described in my book "Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and Their Assault on America." According to witnesses, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan entered a medical facility at Fort Hood, prayed briefly, then shouted "Allahu akbar" before he began gunning down American troops. Now I don't know which to be more afraid of: Muslims or government-run health care systems.

(CNN) -- They don`t call it "Twi Crack" for nothing.Lisa Hansen, for example, thought she had lost her mind the first time she read "Twilight." Partly because she`s 36."I was absolutely worried that something was wrong with me," the Utah mother of two said. "I just couldn`t put it down -- I was obsessed completely."She picked up the first of Stephenie Meyer`s vampire novels -- recommended by a teen neighbor -- with few expectations.

Lance is nearly three now and so we had another club match to look forward to in 2009. Getting ready for this year's match was very hectic with birthday's in between and getting Lance to the groomer so finally everything was sorted and the last thing to do was getting Lance to the match. Now his owner (yes me) doesn't own navigator so of course she got lost and by the time we finally arrived we had about 15 minutes to get ready.

A friend of mine needs some advice: last week, her brand-new boyfriend (we're taking days here, not even weeks) wrote an email list of gifts he wanted for Christmas, sent it to his mom, and CC'd my friend. To be fair, my friend did ask him to send her his Christmas wish list, but she never expected him to send the same list to his mother at the same time.
She's a little freaked out because she thinks this is a sign of him moving too quickly.

They're baaaaack! This week on Grey's Anatomy, Meredith, and Izzie make their returns to Seattle Grace/Mercy West, though only Mere is back in scrubs. Izzie heads back to the hospital with her favorite high-school teacher in tow, a sweet guy who's suffering from what appears to be dementia and is constantly referring to Izzie as a pregnant teen.

If you want to look like your favorite Gossip Girl, you’ll definitely need some colored tights in your life! This season it’s all about throwing on some color to jazz up any outfit. And now that the holidays are rolling around, why not try a fun red pair (like my girl Blair Waldorf, below)?
