New York – Pop star Lady Gaga is not afraid to take fashion risks, as her ensemble for the 13th annual ACE Awards proved. At New York's Cipriani on 42nd Street on Monday, Nov. 2, to pick up her "Stylemaker" award from presenter Marc Jacobs, Lady Gaga wore a fifties-style pale pink bra and girdle-like panties over a gray crushed velvet shirt in a masculine-meets-feminine play.

Just because Earth Day was, like, sooo two days ago, it doesn't mean that we should happily return to our polluting ways.
There are plenty of opportunities to continue green activities all year long, including, oddly enough, shopping.
Sure, the most eco-friendly choice would be to simply buy nothing.

Two months ago, style icon Emma Watson nixed the idea of creating her own celebrity fashion line — unless it benefited a charity. And it looks like she’s found her worthy cause. The Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince star has just announced that she’s lending her design talents to British fair-trade fashion label People Tree for a spring/summer collection of women’s and men’s apparel and accessories.

Hi ladies,
As most of you know, MartiniLush got her Lipstick Queen lipstick from Barney's that was in a huge box. I ordered mine directly from Lipstick Queen online (http://www.lipstickqueen.com/product_frame.htm) There are a lot of great looking products there, and I will be purchasing more.
I was thrilled when mine came in today with such small packaging!

List of mascaras I've found that don't contain parabens, and often many other unwanted chemicals. Now I'd like to know which ones work best!

I've come across a new sandal which I love! The brand is called SWAMISZ, they come in a variety of colours and are so comfortable. I picked up a pair over the weekend and have fallen in love! They are eco-friendly and 100% natural rubber. They have a stylish toe plug and support strap to keep it on your foot, it is similar to a flip-flop but you don't get the sound while walking which normal flip-flops make.SWAMISZ is a design modelled on Ancient Indian wooden shoes named the "Paduka" - except the SWAMISZ are funky and fashionable.I thought I would inform everyone about this new sandal if you don't already know, they are so comfortable and you can literally wear them everywhere!

According to treehugger.com:
"Now that its organic hemp and linen designs are taking off, the Australia-based Envirosax is expanding its use of sustainable fabrics with a new collection of organic bamboo shopping totes.
Comprising 55 percent organic bamboo and 45 percent linen—and made under fair labor conditions in China—the 100 percent biodegradable carriers showcase the same mod aesthetic and tensile strength of its predecessors. Each bag folds into its own drawstring pouch for ease of storage, so you can keep one or two stowed away in your car's glove compartment or in your purse for future carrying needs."
