Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry, Thin Hair
I have a certain friend on here who has dry, thin hair and wants to "Change it Up" when her current lot runs out. I have dry thickish, curly hair myself so I am not a complete expert on the best products for her hair type. What brand products do you think work best?

Dry Brittle Hair? Olive Oil to the rescue!
Do you have dry frizzy ends? Don't want to spend $$$ on name brand oils for hair? There is a little known wonderful quality of olive oil. In the Middle East, they have used olive oil for centuries on their hair. Drizzle a tiny tab of olive oil in your palms and rub together gently. Apply to ends of hair and comb through with a wide tooth comb. I do this on a day when I am not working and just let it moisturize all day. Your ends will be much healthier and shinier!
Buckethead Rant
I know it isn't anywhere CLOSE to a real happy hour in my side of the world right now but I could use a tall one. I think I'll just get a smoothie.
I ask you.... Do you know a buckethead? Have you ever been a buckethead? I have and it isn't fun. What is a "buckethead" anyway?
My definition of a "buckethead" is as follows: A real buckethead stumbles around thinking good thoughts, attempting to do good deeds but somehow they backfire on them. ...because that bucket on their head (often my head) obscures the view...making it hard to really point those good intentions in the right direction. Other times that bucket seems to prevent good intentions from coming to the person wearing it---because they can't see the good intentions either.

My friends I have to write to you today. This is one of those days when I'm not feeling too good. I'm not doing much for myself. My skin feels grimy. My hair feels like it needs moisture. Yes I have that curly hair that needs moisture. It gets dry. I use Carefree moisturizing mist and a conditioning shampoo and a leave in moisturizer, usually Paul Mitchell or Pantene. Sometimes I change. The hair can be overconditioned and when I want to feel really clean I use a cheaper shampoo like VO5. A cheaper one doesn't have as much conditioner. My nails are not polished and a little chiped. I have to use a cuticle massage cream by Sally Hansen to correct that and no I haven't had a manicure in a while. Even so I have to take care of them at home even when I get regular professional manicures. For me that's about once a month. What I'm saying is I've shared some of my beauty secrets but I shouldn't get lazy about any of them so I'd better start practicing them. However I'm in a down mood and when I am I have to do something to pick myself up. Well I think I will like splashing my face with cold water and giving myself a facial mask.Coyote brings fire
