The Hasan Case: Overt Clues and Tactical Challenges

No words can adequately do justice to your thoughts and feelings unless you wrap them in some unexceptionable gifts. Exchanging gifts on auspicious occasion is the grand gesture of wishing good luck and well being. Sending gifts become token of gratitude, an authentic symbol that coveys true feelings of the heart.

Considering this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I though this would be a good post.
There's no part of our bodies that we obsess about more than our breasts. Even those of us not prone to health anxiety wonder which, if any, of our everyday habits are upping our odds of getting breast cancer.

Fear, Tradition, Apathy Reversed Hopeful Trend
By Pamela Constable Washington Post Foreign Service Monday, August 31, 2009
KABUL, Aug. 30 -- Five years ago, with the country at peace, traditional taboos easing and Western donors pushing for women to participate in democracy, millions of Afghan women eagerly registered and then voted for a presidential candidate. In order to live where I do, you have to have an open mind, and I guess not a lot of things surprise me anymore because I have interesting people of all kinds that live around me. I live in the woods out in the country so it is very nice, quiet most of the time except for wildlife, get shelter from the trees from wind and storms, watch naked neighbor frolic around in the woods...wait. Did I just say something about a naked neighbor frolicking in the woods?

TEHRAN — In silence they moved, a vast throng, hundreds of thousands of people, down the street called Revolution. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had called his opponents mere “dust.” Well, said one student, “We will blind him with our dust.”
This was the day followers of Mir Hussein Moussavi, the reformist candidate defeated in Iran’s disputed presidential elections, rose up en masse to protest the theft of their votes. “Quiet!

Expanded Undercover Investigation Shows Mistreatment of Downer Cows Is Commonplace at Livestock Auctions
May 7, 2008
The shocking abuse of "downer" cows occurs not just at slaughter plants but may be an everyday happening at livestock auctions and stockyards around the country—the midpoints between farm and slaughter—as shown in an expanding undercover investigation by The Humane Society of the United States.
"Downer" cows are those too frail to stand on their own—dragged and prodded with inhumane handling methods, and increasing the threat of carrying and passing disease.
During April and May, HSUS investigators visited auctions in Maryland, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Texas and videotaped downer cows at each stop—animals left to suffer for hours and in one instance overnight.
