WASHINGTON – The health care overhaul bill produced by House Democrats would impose an array of new taxes, fees and government mandates on major players in the health industry, including insurers, doctors and drugs and medical devices makers.
In most cases, the pain has been meted out with an eye toward raising the money needed to finance President Barack Obama's plan for reshaping the health system but also with careful regard for gaining the votes that will be needed to pass a final bill.
Democrats hope to vote next week on the measure, which would extend health coverage to tens of millions of Americans who don't have it, impose sweeping new restrictions on private insurers and create a government-run insurance plan to compete with them.

Hopefully this won't apply to anyone, but I thought I'd post this since we have so many people who have kiddos.
The makers of Tylenol have recalled more than 20 types of children's and infant's medications as a precaution against possible contamination. The liquid products were being voluntarily pulled from stores and warehouses because bacteria were detected in one of the inactive ingredients, the company said.

Wait
He's healthy and happy hour and enjoy a childhood of the children to enjoy life. Work one day down the father, always eat dinner with him in that tiny village of channeling door with a smile and said his son today, what progress.
I do not know day from the start, this will not happen again living in his life, the parents began to be petty and bickering, and even to the point where a fight, in the village of Gossip to his ears, the mother of the affair.

FDA officials: Cold meds not for kids
September 29, 2007 08:51:04 AM PST
Very young children simply should not take some commonly used cold and cough medicines, federal health officials say in recommending that the "consult your physician" advice to parents on the labels be dropped.
The preliminary recommendation, from Food and Drug Administration safety officials, would apply to decongestant use in children under 2, and antihistamines in those younger than 6, according to agency documents released Friday.
The more than 350 pages of documents are part of a broad and ongoing FDA examination of whether the roughly 800 medicines, many popular and widely used, are safe and effective in treating children's colds and coughs.

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Blink wildly and then close your eyes really tight for an interesting light show
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
See a variety of blobs, stars and flashes. Try to make out shapes and see if your subconscious is trying to send you a message (perhaps that funny shape is saying, 'send all your money to urban75.com'?)
See how long you can hold a note
(Amusement Potential: 4-20 minutes)
Not that much fun, but it sure passes the time. Play with a friend, or try to beat your own personal best.

Terrence Kiel, the troubled former safety for the San Diego Chargers, died late Friday in a car crash.
Kiel, who played four years in the NFL from 2003-2006, was leaving a party when his 2004 Chevy sedan hit a wall and he was thrown from the car.
The 27-year-old was pinned beneath the hood of the vehicle and was barely breathing when paramedics reached the scene.

We've all been there but don't like to admit it. We've all kicked back in our cubicles and suddenly felt something a brew down below. As much as we try to convince ourselves, the WORK POOP is inevitable.
