I always surprised myself with my naiveté (though I prefer the term “innocence”) by how disappointed I am with celebrities that I considered “nice” or “good” (i.e. “wholesome”) when they get in trouble for doing something really bad (i.e. arrested for soliciting tranny prostitutes… or something of that nature).

Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly joining Mark Wahlberg in an untitled remake of the 2006 documentary Cocaine Cowboys. , Mark Wahlberg will play the drug kingpin Jon Roberts in the story, which chronicles the life of the largest cocaine trafficker in Miami in the 1970s and 1980s. And Wahlberg has persuaded Leonardo DiCaprio to play the supporting role.

Although official sources have not yet confirmed it, the buzz on the Internet is that Eva Mendes has officially checked out of Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility. Last night, Eva was seen hitting up the paparazzi hot-spot, Madeo, for dinner.
On February 1st., the same day that Eva was signed on to become the new face for Calvin Klein Fragrances, the star checked into the clinic for “personal issues”.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The late rock 'n' roll pioneer Ike Turner died of a cocaine overdose, the San Diego County medical examiner said on Wednesday.
Turner, 76, was found dead on December 12 at his home in San Marcos near San Diego. He had a history of cocaine addiction stretching back more than 30 years.

Gary Dourdan, best known for his role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, pleaded guilty to counts of cocaine and Ecstasy possession during his arraignment Wednesday in Indio, Calif.
Dourdan was charged with three counts of felony drug possession following his April 28 early-morning arrest in Palm Springs, Calif. The heroin count was dismissed, and the actor must complete a drug program.

A lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleges that two photographers set up Heath Ledger at a 2006 SAG after-party, first plying him with cocaine and then secretly videotaping him.
In the suit the plaintiff, Jane Doe (a pseudonym), who was working as a freelance reporter for People magazine at the time, recounts events that took place at place Chateau Marmont hotel.
Doe alleges that she and her boyfriend at the time, Darren Banks, one of the Splash News photographers named in the lawsuit, met Ledger on the grounds of
the hotel and brought him, along with another Splash photographer, Eric Munn, to a room Doe had booked for the evening assignment.

A very prominent lawyer in NYC, that shares residence with one of Mariah Carey's producers, claims MC does a bit of cocaine.
The lawyer said one night Mariah was upstairs, and in front of her was "a bowl of coke." He continued by stating, "she uses it on the regular."
