CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A woman who doesn't want her breast milk to go to waste has taken out a newspaper ad in hopes of selling it. Martha Heller, 22, of Tiffin, took out the ad in The Gazette, offering 100 ounces of her breast milk for $200 or the best offer.
Heller said her freezer is overflowing with breast milk that she has pumped since August.

Considering this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I though this would be a good post.
There's no part of our bodies that we obsess about more than our breasts. Even those of us not prone to health anxiety wonder which, if any, of our everyday habits are upping our odds of getting breast cancer.

WATERBURY, Vt. -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.
"PETA's request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the statement says.

Perhaps I had postnatal depressions – I always broke in tears whenever I was moved – how annoying… Well – get used to it…
So, now I was at home and felt like the ultimate greenhorn, a stupid chick with a baby and I had NO idea how to take care of her… Brilliant – in addition she had her first “vomit days” and I nearly went nuts…
Ummi came to me and said: “If you need me – I will help you – no matter if it is day or night – come to my house. We all started small, be happy that you are not alone.” How prophetic these lines were – we did not know in advance – yet yes, I went to her more often than I would have wished for… And it was not only because of my kids – it was because of HER “kid”…
However – I was VERY grateful, that this family had accepted me – and that I had been taken care of well, too.
Finally the parcel fm my parents had arrived… There was one P.O.

Two pounds a week is the typically advised weight loss, but pro Tracy Anderson says she has worked out a way to safely shed even faster!
“It’s perfectly healthy,” the former dancer, 33, tells Us of her plan. And the results of her regime speak for themselves in the super-fit physiques of clients Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, not to mention her own transformation (the 5-foot mom dropped from 140 to 95 pounds).
