From April until June this year I did my summer internship in the events department at exchange4media. I was quite unhappy to be working in Delhi in the hot summer so I was already off to a bad start. Now that I think back though, it was a trip marked by some very memorable moments.

Your favorite fast food restaurant is often like your favorite city: Visit some neighborhoods and you live the high life. Visit others and you’re just plain asking for trouble.

1. Worst fast-food chicken meal
Chicken Selects Premium Breast Strips from McDonald's (5 pieces) with creamy ranch sauce
830 calories
55 grams (g) fat (4.5 g trans fat)
48 g carbohydrates
The only thing "premium" about these strips is the caloric price you pay. Add a large fries and regular soda and this seemingly innocuous chicken meal tops out at 1,710 calories.

Prison blues: States slimming down inmate meals
By SHANNON McCAFFREY
ATLANTA (AP) — The recession is hitting home for inmates, too: Some cash-strapped states are taking aim at prison menus.
Georgia prisoners already didn't get lunch on the weekends, and the Department of Corrections recently eliminated the midday meal on Fridays, too. Ohio may drop weekend breakfasts and offer brunch instead.

Who's next?
With consumers shutting their wallets and corporate revenues plunging, the business landscape may start to resemble a graveyard in 2009. Household names like Circuit City and Linens 'n Things have already perished.

So, I started smoking again because of the stress of work, and it had started out a weekend thing, but here I am smoking about half a pack a day. So I bit the bullet last night and bought some nicotine patches. I slapped one on my arm this morning, and seem to be fine.

A resident in a posh hotel breakfast room called over the
head waiter one morning and read from the menu. "I'd like
one under-cooked egg so that it's runny, and one over-
cooked egg so that it's tough and hard to eat. I'd also
like grilled bacon which is a bit on the cold side, burnt
toast, butter straight from the freezer so that it's
impossible to spread, and a pot of very weak, lukewarm
coffee."

One reader asked to see a sample menu of what I eat in a typical day. I thought this was a great idea, but before I get into it, I thought I'd talk a little about my eating habits.
First of all, I'm a vegetarian.
