Autism is a disorder of neural development that is characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old. Autism involves many parts of the brain; how this occurs is not well understood.

I would like to start off with a Big Hug to anyone that has or had a family member with Alzheimer's disease (AD). I feel we all need to learn more about this outragous disease. So my first post will be just that a little education on the subject.

In these days of hybrid cars and carbon credits, it is common knowledge that substances exhaled by autos and coal plants are harmful to our respiratory system. What may be surprising is the degree to which they may harm the brain—in some instances, as much as exposure to lead. A recent string of studies from all over the world suggests that common air pollutants such as black carbon, particulate matter and ozone can negatively affect vocabulary, reaction times and even overall intelligence.

Marijuana has been used as an aphrodisiac for thousands of years. So what exactly is it about weed that turns people on?
The ancient Indian Ayurvedic medicine systems used cannabis to increase libido, produce long-lasting erections, delay ejaculation, facilitate lubrication and loosen inhibitions.

On a balmy autumn day in Vancouver, a young man is longing for a walk outside in the sunshine, and deciding against it. Far easier for him to stay in his hotel room, cocooned in five-star luxury with a mobile phone that has run out of charge, safe at least from the girls chanting his name outside. Robert Pattinson, 23 and from Barnes in southwest London, ought still to be one of Hollywood’s beautiful dreamers, moving up the ranks of movie acting, enjoying his American adventure, his guitar, his good looks.

There are ways of treating panic attacks, anxiety disorder, and other nervous personality problems. Usually, Psychiatrists (not psychologists) will prescribe medicine. This, to me, treats the symptoms and not the underlying cause of your attacks.

Hi everyone, I'm a regular commenter here and I would really love some advice. I feel like I'm losing my mind.
There is this guy I've been seeing for a few months who I really like. He moved here a couple years ago and doesn't really have a lot of friends. However, the friends he does have are women, at least one of whom he dated in the past and they ended up just as friends. He sees them from time to time for "date-like" activities such as going to a play or concert or something. He often will go with one of them if he invites me to something and I turn him down. He is not a "typical" guy and for him a play or a concert is like a baseball game - he goes to them all the time. He never tries to hide any of this from me, period. He's also never given me any reason not to trust him.
That said, I have had 3 people cheat on me in the past and I'm extremely paranoid. Now that I have this seed planted in my brain, every little thing makes me think that he's cheating. For example, he was really sick last week, and when I came over that weekend, he said "I changed the sheets for you so you wouldn't have to sleep in my germy sheets." Totally nice and reasonable, except immediately I think, "Well maybe he changed them because he had someone else over last night!" He also commented that "I shed a lot less hair than his ex-girlfriend" and I'm like, why are you looking at how much hair I shed? Is it because you have to clean up hair in between girls you bring over?

I've been a member of a number of different hair boards for a while now and I've seen people mention MT and MN for the past couple of years as a good hair growth agent. I've finally asked what it was and someone mentioned that they are the active ingredients in yeast infection cream. Yes yeast infection creams.
