Tandoori turkey in the oven
For a few years now I've wanted to try to marry the traditional Southern Indian food my husband grew up enjoying with Thanksgiving as I know it (Southern girl with a love of spice and heat).
So this year I did a trial run of a tandoori-style turkey made in the oven. By next year I hope to build my own tandoor, or at least grill this guy, because it needs a little more heat to crisp up properly.

You can make sexual lubricants at home.
The purpose of a sexual lubricant is to reduce the friction between two moving objects, such as sexual toys or body parts. You can purchase sexual lubricants in some department stores, grocery stores, novelty shops or adult bookstores.

I decided that over Christmas that I would "adopt" a new fruit and vegetable that I haven't eaten much of, find one I liked and incorporate into my weekly diet.
These two little stars are low-calorie, packed with vitamins and flavour, and are (like most produce) not that expensive if you keep your eyes sharp.
Soo without further adieu:
The veggie is definitely celeriac (Inspired by the need to make a last-minute substitution to Christmas dinner...ending up in a "celeriac" gravy and dressing addition that worked out so awesomely..damn this stuff is good!

Let me preface this by warning you all that I am no cook usually. Shawn is the cook in our family, but recently I have been trying to experiment myself, mostly because I had so much fun baking goodies for my friends and family over the holidays.
I made this last night, and I apologize that I don't have any pictures.

Okay, we have some serious Mashed Potato eaters at my house (including me), so we make a ton of potatoes when we are gonna mash them! This is what me make if there's gonna be 3 or 4 of us .
Peel 10 medium potatoes and slice or cube into equal pieces.

Clean & Green
Here's a collection of my favorite natural cleaning formulas, concoctions
and witches brews. MOST are safe and nontoxic, with a few exceptions which are clearly noted.
Use the ingredients listed below when making your own alternative cleaners, most are
inexpensive and you probably already have many of them in your kitchen cupboards.

I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I had the honor of cooking dinner for a small group of four people. The meal was vegetarian (actually vegan, except for one dessert), mostly organic, with no added sugar and nothing refined.

This is a recipe that is originally from Rachael Ray that I have adapted a little to make it my own. My boyfriend absolutely loves this dish! He’s always happy to hear when it’s on the menu for the week.
