Well ladies, with the fall and winter months drawing nearer, I'm sure most of us will be having some problems with chapped lips. So, I thought I might share this quick tip with you all:

After months of struggling to harness the energy of newly engaged tea party activists, the conservative establishment — with critical midterm congressional elections on the horizon — is taking aim for the first time at the movement’s extremist elements.
The move has been cast by some conservatives as a modern version of the marginalization of the far-right, anti-communist John Birch Society during the reorganization of the conservative movement spearheaded by William F. Buckley Jr. in the 1960s and 1970s.

By Patrik Jonsson
Comedienne-activist and “Matchmaker” star Janeane Garofalo pounded Tea Party activists during Bill Maher’s “Real Time” a couple of days ago, equating this summer’s “Tea Party” protests with a darker chapter in US history: the white power movement.

Antigovernment "Patriot" groups - militias and other extremist organizations that see the federal government as their enemy - came roaring back to life over the past year after more than a decade out of the limelight.

I got this frantic text from a friend last night: "I just spilled tea on my MacBook Pro and now it won't turn on. I think it's gone." While my initial reaction was the same as hers (cry), I instinctively told her to take out the battery (which hadn't gotten wet), dry off the laptop as much as she could, and pop the whole thing in a bag of rice.

I spotted this table at a "Daily Garage Sale" one of our local storage units puts all of their abandoned units "stuff" on display under a tent in lieu of public auctions. I happened to find this adorable table amongst other chairs, tables and cabinets. I thought to myself FIVE DOLLARS!?
