I'm sure most of us couldn't imagine a life without bread: sandwiches, toast, bread baskets, bread bowls, and so forth. It is an integral part of our food culture and seems to be a major player in every meal. However, with the rise of low carb diets, the concept of "good carbs" and "bad carbs," plus the new offerings of "whole wheat" everything, it's easy to get confused about which breads are healthy and which are not.

Apple Juice Uses
Apple juice makes a breath-sweetening mouth rinse and can be used in skin toners and in the bath. The juice contains malic acid which is an exfoliating enzyme useful in removing dead skin cells and surface dirt. Apple juice can even be used as a hair rinse in order to control dandruff.

Violet Milk Cleanser-Add 1 tsp violet petals to 1/4 cup milk. Heat gently until nearly simmering, and keep heating gently until the milk is strongly violet-scented. Strain, bottle, keep in the fridge and use within three or four days.
