Last weekend I decided to go to the movies alone. Just me, a small bag of popcorn, and a movie I've been dying to see. A movie that was then interrupted by a ringing cell phone.

So here's another rant from me because I just got home from class an I'm fired up! I'm in class full-time this summer. This particular rant is inspired by a lovely individual in my Anthropology class.

The Cell Phone Rant Group is there so you can vent about someone who infuriated you by being on his or her cell phone at an inappropriate time, because rarely do we have the wherewithal to go, "Hey! What you're doing is rude!"
Well today, TeamSugar user kaylamom2000 is my hero, because that's what she did.

Forgive me, geeksugar readers, for I have sinned. You see, I began the Cell Phone Rant Group as a means to call out the mobile phone rudeness of the world, and yesterday, I totally broke a commandment: Thou Shalt Not Talk on the Phone While at the Cashier.
When Cell Phone Rant Group contributor kiddylnd shared her cashier rant, I totally agreed.

OK, Cell Phone Rant group members, I've got a sticky subject on cell phone etiquette. It's pretty cut and dry where not to be on your cell phone, lest you're judged as rude or worse, icky — the drive-thru, ordering food, and yes, the bathroom — but are there places where you're receiving a service that it's OK?
I'm talking specifically about taxi cabs.

TeamSugar user Jyramiah added a great anecdote to the Cell Phone Rant Group: What would you do if the person on the cell phone being rude called you rude for trying to help her?
It started with her working at a sandwich shop when a customer entered and got in line while talking on her cell phone. When the counter person tried to take the her order, what do you think the customer did?

"Repent," the preacher cried out, startling those who heard him.
This was no street evangelist ranting at the passing crowd, but the archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Church of England. His sharp admonition was pointed directly at a particular set of sinners, who undoubtedly had never given any thought to the morality of their actions: the barons of global banking.

Tea Party Nation
By Robert Stacy McCain
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Andrea Shea King stood backstage during Thursday night's Tea Party rally at Lake Eola Park here, where thousands turned out on a cool, overcast evening to raise their voices for liberty.
"You should have been here in March," said King, who spoke at one of the earliest rallies in what has since become a nationwide phenomenon.

Okay, this is completely random and I don't even know if anyone's going to be able to relate, but something that I've been noticing lately (I'm trying to make this impersonal as I can—you've heard about those women who blog about work and get in trouble for it) is how negative or "real" people can be.
Don't get me wrong, I don't really appreciate it when people sugarcoat things, but sometimes people lack self-control. During my transition from high school to college, I realized that I was a negative person and decided to see the brighter side and saw that the glass was and IS half full.
